2. Qualifications
Next, let’s look at qualifications. Depending on where you go for your dental treatment, it’s possible that they have lower standards when compared to the UK. Linking back to what we’ve said previously, this ultimately means you may have someone less experienced carrying out your treatment. In addition, the UK has a General Dental Council (GDC) which every dental professional must register with in order to practice. It could be that the country you’re considering doesn’t have a dental register or is generally less stringent than the UK.

Again, regulations in the UK mean that you can be more trusting of what you see, as businesses that use misleading advertising can face hefty fines or even lose their right to practice.
