Q. What is Invisalign?
Invisalign is an almost- invisible teeth-straightening treatment. It uses 3D computer-imaging technology (known as ClinCheck) to plan how teeth will move in fortnightly increments (by wearing clear aligners) from your teeth’s current positions to the desired positions. This makes results very predictable.
The treatment plan and aligners are bespoke to your teenager. They’ll change the aligners every 2 weeks and will wear them every day. At Blossom Family Dental Care, an expert dentist and treatment coordinator will monitor progress every step of the Invisalign journey to make sure your teen is on track.

Q. How is Invisalign for teenagers different to Invisalign for adults?
Invisalign Teen aligners have been specifically designed for busy teenage lifestyles as well as the teen mouth (as it varies considerably from the adult mouth). Each set of aligners has a discreet blue dot indicator to show how long the aligners have been worn. The treatment plan compensates for any teeth that are still to come through (which is common in teens) and includes 6 free individual replacement aligners in case any are lost or misplaced.

Simply brush and rinse them in lukewarm water, then use the special cleaning tablets (we keep these in stock for your convenience). It’s important to brush after each meal and before putting the aligners back in.
