Which teeth-whitening system do you use?

At Blossom Dental Care & Implant Studio, we use the Enlighten teeth-whitening system as it’s widely considered to be the best on the market. The system’s advanced serum repairs enamel and whitens teeth simultaneously. Its specially constructed super-sealed trays and refrigerated whitening serum ensure fantastic results – every time.
How white will my teeth be?

We’ll talk this through in detail during your consultation before any treatment begins. The end result will depend on the colour of your teeth before treatment begins, but it’s possible to increase whiteness by up to 12 shades with results lasting for around 2 years.*
What is Invisalign?

Invisalign is an almost- invisible teeth-straightening treatment. It uses 3D computer-imaging technology (known as ClinCheck) to plan how teeth will move in fortnightly increments (by wearing clear aligners) from your teeth’s current positions to the desired positions. This makes results very predictable.

The treatment plan and aligners are bespoke to you. You’ll change your aligners every 2 weeks and will wear them every day. At Blossom Dental Care & Implant Studio, your expert dentist and treatment co-ordinator will monitor your progress every step of your Invisalign journey to make sure you’re on track.
How long does the treatment take?

The average treatment time at Blossom Dental Care & Implant Studio is 9 to 12 months but this can vary depending on your individual needs.* We’ll be able to give you an accurate answer after your 3D smile simulation has been created with Invisalign’s ClinCheck computer-imaging technology.
What is a dental implant?

Dental implants replace missing teeth and look and feel like the real thing. They can replace single or several missing teeth and can also be used to securely fix dentures.

The implant is a titanium screw that is placed beneath the gum line and into the jawbone. This small surgical procedure is carried out under local anaesthetic. Over time the surrounding bone begins to integrate with the implant which essentially acts as an artificial tooth root.

When healing is completed, individual crowns or bridges can be attached to the implants. Healing usually takes from 3 to 6 months so it’s possible to wear temporary crowns or bridges during this time.
What will the new teeth look like?

We’ll do everything we can to make sure you feel confident and comfortable with your new smile. That means ensuring you have the opportunity to preview your smile before it’s fitted. For most patients, we can also give you the chance to see your smile will look in your own mouth before any work is carried out.
